Cheaper Than Therapy returns Wednesday, July 8 to share their program at Music at the Barnes County Courthouse lawn at 7:15 pm. This women’s quartet is sure to bring some great evening entertainment for all ages.

Cheaper Than Therapy is a quartet based in Jamestown. These four ladies sing barbershop and other harmonies including familiar gospel songs and popular songs from the 50's to today. These four ladies are just ordinary folk, but when they come together in song, the harmony is delightful. They have been “yahooing” their way around the Midwest for 17 years, and are excited about coming to Valley City to perform. Come and enjoy an evening of good music and fun, slapstick humor that is family friendly and fun for all ages. The quartet firmly believes that song and singing is truly “Cheaper Than Therapy.”

Music at the Courthouse Lawn is co-sponsored by Dakota Country-KOVC, the Valley City Parks and Recreation District and the Bridges Arts Council. A free-will offering is taken to assist in the renovations of the City Park Bandshell. Bring your lawn chair or blanket. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held at the Vault located on Central Avenue North.
