Battle Over Bakken: North Dakota vs. Washington

December 30, 2013—A cold Sunday afternoon in Casselton, North Dakota, erupted into a frenzy of destruction when a BNSF train carrying Bakken Crude oil hit already-derailed grain cars and exploded just outside of town. By a stroke of what might be called divine intervention or just extreme luck, no one was injured or killed. It was a close shave, though.
