More thunderstorms are expected across the region today, according to the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks.
A funnel cloud was spotted by Bald Hill Dam near Valley City Tuesday afternoon. The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning until 3:15 p.m.

An area of low pressure moved across the north central portion of the country on Thursday, while a separate system skimmed across the Northwest.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a risk for severe weather on Saturday, mainly in the mid-afternoon across eastern North Dakota, then shifting into western Minnesota for the later afternoon and early evening.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 1 a.m. Friday for Barnes County as well as much of North Dakota and a small part of western Minnesota.
