Four Valley City officials, City Attorney Russell Myhre, City Administrator David Schelkoph, Police Chief Fred Thompson and Police Lt. David Swenson, have filed grievances against Mayor Bob Werkhoven for allegedly creating a hostile work environment. Meanwhile, those same officials are asking the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) to investigate if questions Bob Drake asked in a request for information are defamatory. They also ask for an investigation to determine if the mayor was involved in the letter.
