Hi-Liner Tennis Plays Seven Three-Set Matches

On Tuesday, the Hi-Liner girls' tennis team found themselves battling to the extreme in a match against Fargo Shanley. In their 4-5 loss, the girls played a total of seven three-set matches, according to Head Coach Matt Nielson. Nielson said he can not recall ever seeing or hearing of so many three-set matches in North Dakota girls' tennis. Despite the loss, Nielson said he was proud of the fight in the team members.

5. Angela Larson lost to Pooja Potluri 6-4, 4-6, 6-4
6. Hannah Aberle beat Hailey Giauque 6-2, 6-7(5), 11-9 (STB)
Doubles:
1. Ingstad/Kayla Triebold lost to Aune Keelin 4-6, 6-3, 6-4
2. Halgrimson/Aberle lost to Rabadi/Conrad 6-2, 3-6, 6-4
3. Petersen/Larson beat Potluri/Giauque 6-4, 6-0
