Monday, June 26
Barnes County Senior Center whist is at 1:15 p.m.

The Valley City-Barnes County Public Library Happy Crafts is at 5 p.m. and Genealogy Club meets at 6 p.m.

Tuesday, June 27
Barnes County Senior Center pinochle is at 1:15 p.m.

The Valley City-Barnes County Public Library will show “Monster Trucks” at 2 p.m., and Building with Crazy Materials will be held at 5 p.m.

Wednesday, June 28
Barnes County Senior Center bone builders is at 9:30 a.m. and whist is at 1:15 p.m.

The Valley City-Barnes County Public Library Circle Time with Melissa Lloyd will be held at 10 a.m. and Story Hour with Reada Reddy will be held at 10:30 a.m. Book Club meets at 2 p.m.

Music in the Park, featuring the Meyer Family, will be held in the Valley City City Park Bandshell at 7:15 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held at the Nazarene Church on Riverview Drive. Attendants should bring their own lawn chair or blanket and mosquito spray.

Thursday, June 29
The Valley City-Barnes County Public Library Xbox Gaming will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Exploding Chalk will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.; Book Club meets at 6:30 p.m.; and Six weeks of Judaism begins at 6 p.m.

Barnes County Senior Center Pie Day is from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Monroe Doctrine, a local bluegrass band, will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Vault Coffee Shop, Bakery and Center for the Arts in Valley City.

Friday, June 30
Barnes County Senior Center bone builders exercise is at 9:30 a.m. and bingo is at 1 p.m.

The Valley City-Barnes County Public Library Toddler Music and Movement will be held at 10:30 a.m. and Random Acts of Kindness Craft, featuring postcards from the heart, will be held at 1:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 1
Sibley Days, featuring games, kids fishing derby, supper picnic with bingo and entertainment in the bar, will be held in Sibley, N.D.

A fireworks show will be held at the Lake Ashtabula Crossing at dusk. In case of inclement weather, the show will be held Sunday, July 2.
